Weather / environmental data

Nubila

Nubila describes a decentralized network of weather and environmental sensors whose data is validated and delivered to applications.

Project description based on its own documentation.

About the project

Nubila’s documentation describes a sensor network that captures local signals such as weather, air quality and solar output. The project says it validates the data and delivers it through oracles and APIs to AI agents, enterprises and on-chain protocols.

From sensor to data feed

Nubila’s documentation describes a layered DePIN and oracle architecture. Decentralized weather stations collect data, validator nodes check it, validated data packages are anchored on-chain, and oracles and APIs deliver structured data feeds.

The Marco weather station

The device page describes Marco as Nubila’s solar-powered weather station for tracking local weather and contributing data. It mentions incentives for contributors and a mobile app.

Check installation and responsibilities

The guide for hardware contributors asks for an open location with sunlight and airflow, recommended mounting heights such as about 1.5–2 m for temperature and about 10 m for wind, a powered and online device and basic maintenance. Read the current guide before installing.

Validation and on-chain anchoring

Community-operated validator nodes check data integrity, detect anomalies and verify device signatures. According to the documentation, validated content identifiers (CIDs) are recorded on Monad, and a reputation system gives consistent validators higher incentives.

$NB in the network

The documents describe $NB as a BEP-20 token with a total supply of 1,000,000,000. It is described as the basis for creating, validating and coordinating real-world data streams in Nubila’s network. This reflects the project’s documentation and does not state an expected return.
